That vision grew as I
was riding and showing open hunters/jumpers. I came upon an
Appendix Quarter horse mare that drew me to the AQHA shows.
I competed both locally and on the West Coast. After she
retired and became a broodmare, I purchased my first paint
horse. I enjoy being the all-around competitor and teacher.
And so the story continues…..
Training
and Client Goals:
My
goal is to continue to train the horse and rider to their
individual goals. Whether in or out of the show ring, I am
motivated to build confidence through practice and
commitment from both the client and myself. My
interpretation of a successful barn is not only a good
trainer, but good people with good horses. My
purpose is to give personal attention to each individual and
be
honest, build trust and have the opportunity to find the
best job for the horses and riders ability. I want to be
positive and inspiring for everyone to feel like a winner.
Having fun and building relationships is what
makes it all worth while!
If
you want to compete at local shows, state or enjoy your
horse, our barn is the perfect place for you.
Memorial:
Along the way in my
training career, I have had the pleasure of loving and
losing some special people, horses and dogs that will be
fondly remember and never forgotten. I have dedicated a
memorial page to share the photos of these special friends.
